With a kitset home the homeowner is required to pay the builder (who then pays the kitset provider) in advance for each section of the house, which can take up to three weeks to be delivered.


The guarantee covers:

• Loss of deposit or advance pre-payment, due to the death, disappearance, legal incapacity or insolvency of the builder or kitset provider.
