Only  highly skilled builders who are approved by Builtin can carry the WaterTight Seal of Approval.  To qualify a builder must:

• Have attended DBH Weathertight Training or equivalent

• Be a Licensed Building Practitioner

• Have previous experience in undertaking remedial works

• Meet our financial solvency criteria

By carrying the WaterTight Seal of Approval you will stand out from the crowd and be sought after by homeowners who want a builder they can trust to do the job right.

 

For the homeowner:

• The warranty is transferrable to another buyer, helping the homeowner to sell their home faster and get a better price for it

• It only uses highly skilled builders who must be approved by Builtin and who can then carry the WaterTight Seal of Approval

The warranty covers:

• Structural defects - guaranteed for ten years

• Weathertightness of the building envelope - guaranteed for five years

• Materials and workmanship – guaranteed for two years

• WaterTight repairs guaranteed up to $500,000

• Loss of deposit and non-completion of the repairs (so if something happens to you, the homeowner is covered)
